Our established multi-specialty Ophthalmology group is seeking a skilled professional to join our friendly and dedicated team. If you're passionate about providing exceptional patient care and eager to grow in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!

Your Impact:

· Performs fundus photography and fluorescein angiographies (photographing the blood circulation of the retina).

· Obtains and explains to patient the required consent for the fluorescein angiography.

· Manages patients with reactions to the fluorescein dye.

· Performs indocyanine green angiography, endothelium photography (cornea cell count), slit-lamp photography (photographing the cornea and external photographs around the eye).

· Performs diagnostic imaging - OCT of the retina, the optic nerve, the anterior segment and the cornea.

· Maintains all patient records as it pertains to photography or imaging.

· Maintains patient confidentiality.

· Keeps educational material up to date.

· Performs the duties of an ophthalmic technician as needed and as assigned.

• Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
• Knowledge of medical office procedures.
• Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Bonus Points:

• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.
