Responsibilities
- Load, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using various manufacturing equipment to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions written on work orders and blueprints
- Complete work order paperwork
- Perform in-process inspection according to standard procedures
- Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required
- Participate in cross training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the department
- Perform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning up and lubrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Education - High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- This position works in a manufacturing environment.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment in all weather conditions.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly, up to 50 lbs.
- Bend, twist, climb, squat, kneel throughout shift Able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions.
- Ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
- Must be able to handle both large pieces and small pieces of aluminum extrusions.
The base hourly pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.60. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
