Job Summary: | The Department of Ophthalmology is seeking applications for a PRN Medical Assistant (open rank Healthcare Tech 1-II) to take photos at several clinic locations in Denver and Aurora. This position will work on patient recruitment and consents for research imaging. Operates specialized ophthalmic equipment. This role will be responsible for providing the research consent form, educating regarding the study, providing answers to patient’s questions, and capturing the retina’s picture. The Ophthalmology Department is providing imaging services OCT and Non-mydriatic fundus photography services. Medical Assistants are responsible for providing outstanding customer service to the assigned physicians, referring providers and patient. The individual in this position will perform a broad spectrum of duties related to the effective and efficient clinical assistance of patients for outpatient visits and procedures.
