Job Summary:
As a Land Survey Manager, you'll lead survey crews and technicians on various projects, promoting safe work practices and evaluating staff performance. You'll represent the team in client meetings, develop survey projects, and analyze survey objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise survey staff and coordinate with engineering, right-of-way, and utility coordination personnel
- Determine scope of work, job objectives, and man-hour budgets for projects
- Plan and develop surveying projects, analyze survey objectives, and prepare survey proposals
- Train and direct survey staff, and develop criteria for survey methods and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Land Surveying and/or Professional Licensure
- Professional License as Land Surveyor in Kentucky or the ability to obtain a Kentucky license
- Experience with Trimble Instruments, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Carlson, and Microsoft Office suite
Working Conditions:
- 80% office work, 20% field work with occasional travel
Field work may require working in various weather conditions and lifting up to 25 lbs
