Position Overview:

 

The Clarion Inn, part of the Ed Morse Automotive Group, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Front Desk Manager to join our team at the Clarion Inn at Destination Daytona. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Front Desk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This position is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and managing the front desk staff effectively. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front desk staff and ensure all duties are performed efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the night audit process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and recorded.
  • Will also be asked to perform accounting duties as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, promotions, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Train new front desk employees on hotel policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Monitor phone systems to ensure calls are answered promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest services and overall hotel operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the front desk area

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Strong background in guest relations, customer service, or hotel management.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations, including night audit procedures.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication with diverse guests is essential.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and hotel management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
