BASIC FUNCTION:
Methodist Rehabilitation Center is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Designer/Photographer to join our Marketing & Public Relations team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, branding, and healthcare communication. You will help us share patient success stories, enhance our brand, and support design needs across the organization.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign).
- Strong eye for layout, typography, and photography.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and what makes visual content engaging.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation & Design
- Assist in creating engaging visual content for social media platforms, digital campaigns, and web use.
- Design print collateral including flyers, brochures, posters, and mailers.
- Support the development of internal marketing materials.
Photography
- Capture compelling photos of patients, staff, and events that support MRC’s mission and storytelling for use on marketing materials and social media.
- Maintain and organize a growing library of visual assets.
Brand Development
- Ensure all designs follow MRC’s brand standards and help elevate brand consistency across all channels.
- Work collaboratively to brainstorm and pitch new visual ideas that support marketing initiatives.
Support & Collaboration
- Respond to internal design requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the marketing team to execute content calendars and campaigns.
