JOB DESCRIPTION
The Geospatial Technical Analyst identifies entities of interest that address intelligence gaps and/or mission objectives. The work is accomplished through the application of methodologies and tools used to identify, extract, and analyze operationally relevant information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze all-source intelligence to identify individuals, networks, organizations of interest, and propose avenues of operational access to targets.
- Identifies operational approaches and support field elements to advance operational, intelligence, technical, or mission objectives.
- Knowledge of collection capabilities related to complex geographic or functional areas or issues
- Knowledge of relevant US regulatory and policy issues related to operation activities
- Awareness of Counterintelligence (CI) and CI environments.
- Experience working with SIGINT
- Work independently to develop GIS tools and applications, perform complex analyses, and develop multi-layered maps accomplished by using an appropriate combination of tools found in the GIS application suite and other programming environments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BS or 5 years of targeting-related experience may be substituted for education
- 10+ years of targeting-related work experience
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Analyze all-source intelligence to identify individuals, networks, organizations of interest, and propose avenues of operational access to targets.
- Identifies operational approaches and support field elements to advance operational, intelligence, technical, or mission objectives.
- Knowledge of collection capabilities related to complex geographic or functional areas or issues

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Exposure to geospatial tools and database libraries (e.g. Elastic, PostGIS, Greenplum), and experience working with telecommunication protocols (802.11, CDMA, GSM, UMTS) is desirable
