We’re looking for an experienced videographer with a strong background in professional soccer coverage to join our matchday team. This is a paid, freelance position with the opportunity to work multiple games — ideally, committing to the remainder of the 2025 season.
You’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality footage that brings the energy of our club to life across social media, marketing, and internal platforms. You’ll work closely with the OCSC content team to follow shot lists while also bringing your own eye and creative style to every match.
What you’ll do:
- Capture dynamic video content of pre-match, match action, fans, halftime, and post-match scenes\
- Follow club-provided shot lists and adjust in real-time based on match flow and key moments
- Upload all raw and edited footage to the club’s shared drive within 24 hours
- Work in sync with our social, photo, and marketing teams to deliver footage that aligns with OCSC’s visual identity
- Be present and ready to shoot 2 hours before kickoff through 1 hour after final whistle
Requirements:
- Proven experience filming professional or high-level soccer matches (portfolio required)
- Own professional-level camera gear suitable for low-light and fast action environments
- Ability to work quickly, adapt to a live event setting, and capture both cinematic and documentary-style content
- Strong understanding of framing, pacing, and soccer-specific storytelling
- Reliable transportation to Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine
- Available for multiple home matches — preference given to those who can commit for the rest of the season
