Electrical Surveyor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Retail Travel Electrical Surveyor to join our team for a 4-6 week project involving on-site electrical surveys at retail locations across the country. This role requires extensive travel, hands-on electrical experience, and the ability to operate company vehicles safely and legally.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed electrical surveys at various retail locations
• Document existing electrical systems, fixtures, panel loads, and infrastructure
• Identify and report potential safety issues
• Work independently or in small teams to complete survey tasks efficiently
• Coordinate with project managers and upload daily reports and photos
• Drive company vehicles to job sites safely and responsibly

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and must be insurable to drive company vehicles
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Comfortable traveling and staying on the road for extended periods (4-6 weeks)
• Must be reliable, professional, and punctual

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior experience performing electrical surveys or audits
• Familiarity with commercial/retail electrical systems
• Two years electrical experience
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus
