Description

We are currently seeking a Drone Surveying Candidate

Role and Responsibilities

Drone Operation:. Pilot and operate drones following regulations and safety protocols.

Data Capture: Collect high-resolution images and data using various drone-mounted sensors (cameras, LiDAR, etc.).

Data Processing: Utilize software to process aerial data, create 3D models, orthomosaics, and other mapping deliverables.

Surveying and Mapping: Apply knowledge of surveying principles and techniques to create accurate maps, 3D models, and other spatial data.

Project Management: Plan and execute drone surveys, ensuring adherence to project specifications and deadlines.

Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze collected data to extract meaningful information for various applications.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in GIS software, photogrammetry, and other relevant technologies.

Communication and Collaboration: Work effectively with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
  • Ability to operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency and in challenging and unique terrain environments.
  • Experience working with GPS control preferred.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Effective communication skills applicable to position.
  • Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and nights when necessary.
  • Team player.
  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
