SUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal, the focus of the Drone Club Adviser is to foster students’ learning and development on drone operations and assisting with club participation in local drone competitions.
-Facilitate club meetings (twelve sessions in fall/winter);
-Provide guidance on drone operations;
-Help students learn about drone technology and its applications;
-Offer guidance on safety protocols;
-Maintain equipment and oversee proper storage.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current member of the Oxford Education Association.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and/or position oneself to demonstrate technique.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is generally performed in a school environment, athletic field, athletic setting, indoors and outdoors. The noise level is usually moderate to loud but occasionally high depending upon student population and activities. Employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
