Director of Residential Sales
Location: Delray Beach, Florida

  • Base salary approximately $100,000
  • Override on volume of closed deals
  • Total compensation expected to exceed $200,000+ for strong performance

We are representing a well-established, privately backed residential solar company operating in South Florida for more than a decade. The organization has strong market presence, stable leadership, and is currently scaling its residential division.

The company operates within a structured accountability framework with disciplined meeting rhythms, KPI transparency, and a performance-oriented culture.
This role is open due to leadership transition and immediate growth needs.

Position Overview
The Director of Residential Sales will lead and scale the internal residential sales organization. This role is responsible for overseeing KPI performance, managing dashboards and analytics, driving revenue growth, and maintaining strict discipline around customer acquisition cost and time-to-close metrics.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The selected candidate must actively manage performance, coach managers, and operate within a highly data-driven sales environment.

The Director will oversee three direct reports, including a Sales Manager who manages the broader sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership
  • Lead the residential sales division
  • Oversee sales manager and broader sales organization
  • Drive accountability across KPIs
  • Improve close rates and overall sales performance
KPI and Analytics Management
  • Monitor and manage performance dashboards
  • Analyze lead performance and funnel metrics
  • Evaluate close rates and deal patterns
  • Control customer acquisition costs
  • Track and reduce time-to-close metrics
  • Improve call center conversion performance
Revenue Execution
  • Drive contracts through to completed installations
  • Align marketing, lead generation, and sales execution
  • Optimize overall sales funnel performance
Team Development
  • Build scalable sales processes
  • Maintain disciplined meeting structure
  • Create performance visibility across the team
  • Coach and develop underperforming representatives
