Job Description:

We’re seeking cybersecurity professionals at mid, senior, and lead levels. Whether you’re guiding a project team, designing enterprise architectures, or leading program-wide cybersecurity strategy, you’ll play a vital role in protecting what matters most. 

Minimum Requirements (All Levels) 

  • Knowledge of emerging cyber threats and corresponding cyber defense tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) 
  • BS degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Mid-Level: ~5–8 years of related experience 
  • Senior: ~8–10 years of related experience 
  • SME: 10+ years of related experience with demonstrated progression into leadership roles
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and attaining / maintaining ATOs
  • Strong communication skills to engage technical teams and senior stakeholders 

Role Expectations by Level 

Mid-Level Cybersecurity Professional (~5–8 years) 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with relevant frameworks 
  • Execute security engineering, monitoring, and analysis tasks 
  • Implement established cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards
  • Recommend improvements to security posture based on current threat intelligence 
  • Provide RMF expertise to help attain and maintain ATOs

Senior Cybersecurity Professional (~8–10 years) 

  • Serve as the cybersecurity lead for one or more programs, helping ensure both cybersecurity compliance (RMF), the system is as cybersecure in its design as possible, and helping actively ensure the cybersecurity of deployed systems
  • Shape and influence long-term security policies, architectures, and investments 
  • Mentor junior and mid-level team members
  • Interface with leadership to align cybersecurity initiatives with mission priorities 
  • Provide RMF expertise to help attain and maintain ATOs

Cybersecurity Lead / SME (10+ years) 

  • Oversee cybersecurity strategy and program execution for large organizations (1,000+ personnel) 
  • Lead teams of 10+ cybersecurity professionals across multiple disciplines and locations 
  • Direct enterprise-wide incident response and risk management program
  • Shape and influence long-term security policies, architectures, and investments
  • Act as the primary liaison with executive leadership and key stakeholders on cybersecurity matters
  • Provide RMF expertise to help attain and maintain ATOs

Preferred Qualifications 

  • A cybersecurity certification such as CISSP
  • Proven experience providing cybersecurity and/or cyber defense support to large, complex organizations
  • Experience in high-availability and mission-critical operational environments
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles and cloud security strategies 
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of FAA systems

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
