CDL A Driver – Geothermal Drilling Team

Dandelion Energy is looking for a CDL A Driver to join our Geothermal Drilling Team—but this is more than a driving job. If you’re looking for a stable, hands-on role in renewable energy, this is your opportunity to be part of something meaningful. Yes, you’ll drive—and you’ll also play a key role in the drilling operations that make clean, sustainable heating possible for thousands of homes.

This is a great fit for a CDL A driver who wants consistent hours, reliable pay, and the chance to grow into a skilled trade. You’ll work closely with experienced drillers, learning the ropes and supporting on-site drilling operations. Unlike oil and gas, geothermal offers steady demand and local work, with no long-haul trucking or weeks away from home.

🛠️ Responsibilities:

• Drive company vehicles (Class A required) to and from residential job site.
• Assist with loading and unloading drilling equipment and materials
• Support drilling operations on-site: handle drill pipe, mix mud and grout, operate auxiliary tools
• Learn directly from experienced drillers—this is on-the-job training for a skilled trade
• Keep the drill rig and site clean, organized, and safe
• Perform maintenance and inventory tasks as needed
• Follow all safety and quality protocols

✅ Must-haves:

• Valid CDL A license + clean driving record (required)
• Comfort working outdoors and in a physical, team-based environment
• Interest in learning drilling or construction trades
• Ability to lift 80–100 lbs safely and repeatedly
• A team-oriented, hard-working attitude—ready to get your hands dirty and grow your career
• Bonus if you have: rigging, welding, or mechanical skills (but not required)

💰Compensation 

The expected base salary range for this role in Colorado is $30-36/hour ($62,400-$75,000 annually). Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for equity.
