Position Overview

Join the forefront of renewable energy innovation as a Senior Engineer specializing in Solar & Battery Storage Arc Flash Analysis. This high-impact role will leverage your electrical engineering expertise to ensure safety and compliance across a portfolio of cutting-edge solar and battery energy storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive AC and DC system arc flash studies using ETAP software for solar and battery storage sites

• Review and validate arc flash studies conducted by external engineering teams

• Develop and maintain arc flash study standards, incorporating industry advancements

• Lead root-cause analysis for equipment failures at solar and battery sites

• Provide technical guidance to field technicians troubleshooting inverter and system issues

• Support development of countermeasures for recurring operational challenges

• Assist with responses to regulatory inquiries and data requests

• Contribute to component failure rate analysis and capital replacement planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or other engineering discipline with equivalent electrical systems experience)

• 5+ years of experience working in solar energy systems

• Proficiency with electrical system modeling software (ETAP, PSSE, PSCAD, SKM, etc.)

• Strong analytical skills with ability to work independently

• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
