Position Title: Automotive Detailer/ Lot Porter/ Photographer

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Schedule: Monday�Friday, 8:00 AM�5:00 PM. Saturdays are 10:00 AM�3:00 PM.
When scheduled on a Saturday, the following Friday and Saturday are off.
Compensation: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

As a Merchandiser, Lot Porter, and Detail Technician, you will be responsible for the visual presentation, maintenance, and movement of dealership vehicle inventory to ensure a positive customer experience and uphold dealership standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare vehicles for detailing by washing, drying, vacuuming, and applying appropriate cleaning and detailing products according to work procedures.

  • Inspect vehicles post-detailing to ensure quality and safety standards are met, reporting any damage or concerns to management immediately.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, ensure proper use of chemicals, and follow all safety guidelines, including familiarity with MSDS properties.

  • Photograph the interior and exterior of all vehicle inventory, ensuring vehicles are clean, free of debris, and properly prepared for photos by removing packaging and ensuring no rain, snow, or dirt is present.

  • Edit and upload high-quality photographs to dealership inventory sites, maintaining online merchandising standards and updating listings as needed.

  • Monitor the dealership�s online vehicle presence, making adjustments to ensure all inventory is accurately and attractively presented.

  • Coordinate with dealership staff to ensure all inventory on the lot is properly photographed and available for online viewing.

  • Maintain security and proper handling of photography equipment and vehicles during the merchandising process, adhering to all organizational and safety procedures.

  • Assist with lot operations, including moving, parking, fueling, jump-starting, and unlocking vehicles; ensure the lot remains organized, clean, and free from snow and debris.

  • Provide feedback to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and overall processes; assist with training new employees when needed.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate reliability through regular and consistent attendance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a non-DOT physical & lift test
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
