Job Description

The Agency Photographer will offer support to our Campus Photographer. Job responsibilities will include assisting with shoots, editing materials, and a flexible schedule. 

Job Responsibilties

  • Assist campus photographer on campus photoshoots  
  • Assists by carrying equipment, setting up lighting, being an additional photographer during shoots 
  • Assist in the editing of photographs to ensure they are released in a timely fashion  
  • Lead photoshoots 
  • Opportunity to learn how to effectively manage a photography shoot 
  • Adaptability with schedule. Able to do photoshoots as needed.  
  • Efficiently meet all project deadlines 
  • To positively represent University Communications and Marketing  
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Sophomore academic standing 
  • GPA 2.5 or higher 
  • Knowledge about UWSP and UW-school system 
  • Basic photography knowledge including camera and photo editing resources  
  • Time Management Skills 
  • Strong Networking Skills 
  • Maintain Confidentiality 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Access to a camera 
  • Access to Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop 
  • Knowledge about working on personal computer 
  • Commitment for 2025-2026 Academic Year 
  • Commitment for Summer 2025 hours 
  • Previous Photography experience
