AERIAL LIFT FOREPERSON - Columbus, IN

Kendall Vegetation Services has been in business for over 60 years and provides full-service vegetation management for the Utilities industry in 14 states. Starting as a commercial tree trimming company, we also provide services such as storm and emergency restoration, line clearance, herbicide application, and transmission right-of-way maintenance and mowing.

$1,000 Signing Bonus - conditions will apply

The Aerial Lift Foreperson coordinates crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies in order to complete all jobs according to contract specifications.

Essential duties include:
•    Direct crew members and manage equipment each day; ensure crew members wear PPE and follow safe practices on job
•    Designate break and lunch times
•    Notify private property owners of crew’s presence; obtain permission and discuss issues with homeowner
•    Perform various positions on crew including trimming and/or removing trees, loading and unloading trucks, apply herbicide or pesticide, etc.
•    Direct cleanup of job site
•    Keep records of time, equipment, and material used
•    Complete daily truck inspections
•    Restock supplies on truck

Specific requirements include:
•    Must be able to work outdoors under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
•    Must have and maintain a Driver’s License if hired for a driving position
•    Must be able to meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on crew
•    Must be able to operate and perform basic service on all tools and equipment used by crew
•    Must be able to travel out of town for storm restoration work when needed
