- Physical Stamina: The role requires lifting 50–115 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Comfort with Heights: Technicians must work confidently from ladders, scaffolding, scissor lifts, and cranes at heights up to 135 feet.

Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of electrical circuits, DMX wiring, and CAD drawings (lighting plots) is essential for correct installation.
- HID / HPS Knowledge: Proficient with HID / HPS work and LED conversion options.
- Electrical: Must understand and be able to troubleshoot voltages ranging from 12V DC to 480V AC

Tooling: Must have basic tools for aerial work, including, but not limited to, voltage meters, hand tools, electrical insulated tools, and levels.
- 6-months experience as a commercial low-voltage technician
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Have their own reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Pass a background check and drug test
- Be able to work day shifts, nights, or weekends, if needed
